Fire and Emergency Builds
Taco Dev’s July 2025 fire update added more than aircraft — three new build menu items landed alongside the Firefighting Plane and Firefighter Training Plane:
- Wind Sock — runway wind indicator
- Fuel Truck — ground service vehicle decor
- Fire Emitter — fire-station visual effect
None of these change capacity, payouts, or plane requirements. They exist to make fire-aviation zones look authentic while you chase Air Stairs ramp income.

Wind Sock
Real airports use wind socks so pilots read surface wind. In Itty Bitty Airport, the Wind Sock is a purely decorative build piece.
Placement tips:
- Edge of Small or Medium Runway aprons — visible from taxiways
- Near Water Runway shorelines for variety
- Never on active taxi paths — blocks pathfinding
Wind socks pair well with runways and taxiways expansion when you upgrade toward Firefighting Plane Medium Runway requirements.
Fuel Truck
The Fuel Truck adds ground-service realism beside Air Stairs ramps. It does not refuel aircraft mechanically — payouts still come from landings only.
Best use:
- Fire station corner beside Firefighter Training Plane gates
- Service road between terminal and remote concourse
- Monorail and outside areas away from plane routes
Fire Emitter
The Fire Emitter (listed as “Fire Emmitter” on the Roblox game page) produces a fire-station training effect. Ideal for roleplay zones where fire aircraft “train” before operational Firefighting Plane sorties.
Safety rule: Place emitters off taxiways. A decorative prop in the pathfinder lane causes the same planes not landing headaches as monorail pillars.
Theming a fire station zone
Combine all three items with both fire aircraft:
- Air Stairs ramp for Firefighter Training Plane (30 cap) and Firefighting Plane (50 cap)
- Wind Sock at runway approach
- Fuel Truck beside the ramp
- Fire Emitter behind training area (not on taxi route)
- Optional food and comfort nearby for passenger zones
Airport layouts — satellite fire annex on a separate taxi spur prevents last-jetway conflicts with main jetbridge concourses.
Update context
These items shipped in the July 2025 BETA patch documented on release and updates. Taco Dev announced them on the Roblox game description and Discord community — no official Trello board (Trello FAQ).
